Personal Information Protection Policy

We, at Works Applications Co. Ltd. and Works Applications Group companies (hereinafter referred to as “our group”) have a greater responsibility to appropriately manage and protect personal information due to our business characteristics of supporting our customers' core business operations over a wide range of areas. Our group’s officers and employees hereby declare that they will comply with and maintain the personal information protection policies set forth below.

1. Our group will comply with the relevant laws, regulations, and other guidelines by the country and local governments on handling personal information in all our business activities. In addition, we have formulated a personal information protection management system in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard “Personal Information Protection Management System - Requirements” (JIS Q 15001) in order to protect personal information.
2. Our group will collect personal information through appropriate means after defining, publicizing or notifying, and clearly indicating the purpose of use as necessary. Our group, excluding the situations as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose . We will take appropriate measures so as to prevent non-purpose use.
3. Our group, excluding the situations where we have received the consent of the individual or if required by the laws and regulations, will not provide the collected personal information to any third party.
4. If our group receives a complaint or an inquiry regarding the handling of personal information, we will promptly launch an investigation into the matter and respond sincerely.
5. Our group will take organizational, human, physical, and technical safety measures to manage the personal information we obtain appropriately. Our group will work to prevent and rectify leaks, loss and damage of personal information.
6. Our group will continuously review our personal information protection management system and improve our efforts to protect personal information in accordance with the changes in social conditions and environment.
